Abstract:
This datalayer is a simple representation of Regional Planning Organizations for Connecticut. It is a polygon Shapefile that includes one polygon for each Regional Planning Organization (16 polygons). This datalayer does not accurately define the boundaries for these organizations because it was digitized at 1:250,000 scale. Only use this datalayer with other 1:250,000 scale datalayers such as Major Rivers or Town Index and not with the more spatially accurate 1:24,000 scale datalayers.
Purpose: Data are intended for reference purposes only.
