Abstract:
This datalayer is a simple representation of the major roads in Connecticut. It is a line Shapefile that does not accurately reflect the highway network in Connecticut because it was digitized at 1:250,000 scale and does not necessarily include all of the state and interstate routes. Be sure to only use this datalayer with other datalayers digitized at 1:250,000 scale such as Major Rivers or Town Index and not with the more spatially accurate 1:24,000 scale datalayers.
Purpose: Data are intended for reference purposes only.
