This is a point feature class that defines the center point for each Connecticut 1995 - 1996 aerial photograph. There are 6370 total aerial photograph center points in this feature class which represent photographs taken at a scale of 1:12000. Each center point represents a 9"x9" photograph covering approximately 1.7 miles east-west by 1.7 miles north-south, covering a geographic area of approximately 2.89 square miles which have been geo-located, but not geo-corrected or geo-rectified. Successive photographs overlap by approximately 1 mile. Photographs were originally taken by the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection.
This data serves as a center point index for the set of 1995 aerial photos for Connecticut.
